Smt. Shalini Aravind Prabhu, is the driving force behind this initiative. She grew up in abject poverty yet pursued her education and against all odds completed her 12th grade topping her class. She couldn’t pursue college education and instead dedicated herself to raise a family with her husband Mr. K V Aravind Prabhu. A firm believer in the transformative power of education, she steadfastly ensured that her children received the best possible education.
Despite their humble beginnings in Kannada-medium government schools, Shalini Prabhu’s children pursued higher education — Ajay Prabhu earning a PhD in the United States, Ajit Prabhu completing his double master’s in the United States and Avinash Prabhu, MD and FRCS in United Kingdom. Their success is a testament to their mother’s belief that education is the true path to success. She instilled in them the values of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Her unwavering commitment to education led to her sons’ remarkable achievements.
Shalini Prabhu dedicates much of her time to encouraging deserving children and women to pursue their dreams through education, hard work and perseverance.
